The Father of the Bride Bryan Hocking Born in Melbourne in 1941, this man was an engineer from birth. Bryan, like his daughter, was also an apprentice (in fitting & turning) and was once honoured with the Apprentice of the Year award. He went on to pursue his education in metallurgy, attending night school at RMIT for many years while he worked with an engineering company during the day. In 1998, Bryan retired from his position as Project Manager at Eaton Controls. He is best known (and kidded) for his meticulous and methodical ways. Also like his daughter, he is passionate about details in all aspects of his life, from his knowledge of automotives to his love of photography. Bryan is also a second-generation Essendon Bombers fan. Needless to say, he was thrilled that his son-in-law so quickly became a follower of his beloved AFL team. << Back to Bridal Party
