The Maid of Honour Deborah Hocking Deborah -- or "Debstar" as she prefers to be known -- is Tammy's elder sister, and her only sibling. Since their rocky beginning as sisters, when Deborah would lock Tammy in the laundry and give her numerous Chinese burns, they have grown to become soulmates. Deborah has always had a passion for two things: music and psychology. The latter led her to become a fully qualified psychologist, studying at Swinburne University in Melbourne and Northern Territory University in Darwin. Her talent has taken her from teaching guitar to recording her own folk-rock music; creating her debut EP, "Stage", and a follow up album, "D-Day". She hopes to record a new album with a band sometime in 2002, with Matt sitting in as the drummer. She occasionally performs with Tammy, singing harmonies together live or on recordings. Like a true artist, she has two personas. Enigmatic and extroverted in nature, Deborah the Performer loves to be the centre of attention. The more subdued Deborah the Thinker, however, rarely appears in public places. You will no doubt be able to spot Deborah the Performer at the wedding (she'll be the one in front of the camera most of the time). Tammy is proud to have her as her Maid of Honour.
